IBM Campus Ambassador
The IBM Campus Ambassador program is a voluntary program designed to have a liaison between IBM Academia to strengthen the collaboration and evangelize cutting edge technologies. Students highly motivated in learning gen-next technologies and network with IBM Experts are invited to participate. Though the program is voluntary, it gives students a chance to learn more about industry relevant technologies, know how technologies are evolving and network with IBM Experts. All of these will surely broaden your horizon.
Eligibility
- Students from CS, EE and ECE graduating in 2011 with a current CGPA of 7 or above.
- The Student should have prior exposure and affinity to work with gen-next technologies.
- The Student should have proven networking capabilities.
Duties of Campus Ambassadors
Campus ambassadors who are selected need to perform the following activities during their period:
- Working with IBM Campus Relationship Managers to effectively organize IBM Programs at Campus. Constant access to the IBM UR Collaboration Portal
- Involvement of IBM in the Mega and Key Events of the Institute.
- Formation of Technology Clubs while working with the Technology Hub Leaders at IBM.
- Proliferation of IBM Skills and Knowledge among the Colleagues
- Publicity Dissemination of the IBM Program Announcement and details.
- Subscription to Webex Lectures, Keynotes Exec Lectures.
- Finding of successor and Transition of Knowledge
How will student benefit from this?
- Networking with IBM Experts and Technical Leaders.
- Preference in programs offered by IBM.
- Credits on Success of key Events. Recognition during the Key Events.
- Certificate and Memento upon successful completion of term.
